    Child is missing in Xbox Online but present in Microsoft Family


    I added the account for one kid some time ago and for another one - today. 2nd one - works as described.

    In the first case it's all corrupted.

    I cannot see the 1st "child" gametag in mu XBox privacy settings.

    But, even if I remove the 1st "child" from the "family", he still cannot edit XBox settings.

    I removed/re-added child account from the family, but nothing changes.

    As a software developer I recon this cannot be fixed on my side, so I'll wait 2-day in case some DB replication is needed, and most probably I will have to create completely new account for my kid.

    How can I link my childs xbox account?

    I can see my childs account in the My Family tab in microsoft accounts but when I go into xbox privacy and online safety his account is missing so I am unable to administer his xbox account.

    Please tell me how I can resolve this issue.

    I miss being a child, not having to worry about anything, getting presents from the family. The only presents I seem to now get are from the girlfriend :(

    Why you're being asked for parental consent

    If the date of birth on your Microsoft account shows that you're under 18 years old, Xbox is required to request parental consent for you to use Xbox Live.

    If you're an adult, but you got a message asking for parental consent, it's because you're a child in your Microsoft family. Even if you're over the age of 18, you can still be a child in Microsoft family.

    Solution

    If you're under the age of 18, follow the steps on your console to have your parent sign in and add you to a Microsoft family.

    If you're over the age of 18, have your parent remove you from the family. They'll have to sign in to
    account.microsoft.com/family, select your profile, and select remove.

    If you're unable to clear the message, contact Xbox Support.
