Child Can't Play Multiplayer

My child recently purchased Minecraft Windows 10 edition. She'd like to play with her friends, but with the way her account is configured, she can't add friends or play with any of them. I heard something about multiplayer being disabled by default, but
it has instructions on the Xbox, and she doesn't own one. Does anyone know how my child can play with her friends?

Lo que podemos hacer en este caso

1-crear una cuenta parental o en el caso de tenerla agregar la cuenta de su hija como familiar.

2-Entrar en configuración y en el apartado de multijugador habilitar la opción más conveniente para su hija.

Try going through your child's account and customizing what she can or cannot do. This should allow her to play and talk with friends.

If you have child settings on your childs account then that can disable online multiplayer my recommendation is to go through the account settings and configure it in the way you deem safe for your child

Hello, how are you? On your case, I recommend that as a parent you configure your child's account so that he has more security when playing, you can configure it in the parental control.

As others noted, your children need an active Gold membership subscription to be able to play online multiplayer (other than free to play titles like Apex or Fortnite).

Since you say the child can play online multiplayer when you are signed in on that console, I assume your own account has an active Gold or Game Pass ULTIMATE subscription.

In order to save some costs, you can do the following:

Give one child (let's call it Child A) a gold membership subscription or a Game Pass ULTIMATE subscription (a "regular" Game Pass subscription won't do it).

Now Child A goes to the console of Child B and sets that console as their own Home Console in the settings of the Child B console.

Now the Child B console shares the Gold membership subscription with ANYONE playing on that Child B console.

As Child A is the owner of the Gold subscription, they in turn can go to ANY CONSOLE and their Gold subscription goes with them.

So Child B can play Minecraft online Multiplayer thanks to the shared Gold subscription on the B-console, and Child A can play on their own console (or any other console) thanks to the Gold membership on their Child A account.

If you yourself don't play online multiplayer, you can then cancel the Gold subscription on your own account, and the kids can play with their own accounts.
