    I am having the same issue. Exactly as described. My kids want to play Minecraft with their school friends and we've only been able to get games to work if you invite directly from a friends list, which they are unable to have because I can't setup their
    privacy restrictions. Very frustrating.

    A similar problem.

    In addition, at the entrance to the "Privacy and security on the Internet" in the settings Xbox app, I do not see the list of available child accounts account. But there is present an unknown account, from which I can not do anything.

    Settings for the family accounts are made.

    It appears this issue is coming from your Privacy Settings, now do note that if you are on a child account your access to things will be limited. To access the Privacy Settings you will need to scroll to the right to the "SETTINGS" tab on the dashboard and
    select "PRIVACY" and check to see what your privacy settings are.

    Hello fellow gamer!

    It seems that after changing the Privacy and Online Safety settings that the error of settings being incorrect still appears.

    Our suggestion is to do the following:

    1. Sign into a different account that is yours
    2. Follow our Add members to your Microsoft family, you would add your own account into the family as a child
    3. And then follow our Change your child’s Xbox privacy and online safety settings
      to adjust the privacy settings for your main account

    Try this out for us and let us know how this goes.
