Child Account Xbox Live Suspended

Hi,

I have an Xbox Account with my son added as a child, and every month I add money to his account to pay for his xbox live gold subscription. However this month he cannot get it as it says his xbox live gold is currently suspended due to a missed payment.
I don't normally set up a recurring payment, I just add money to his account whenever his subscription expires. Now it wants me to add in my card details to his xbox to make a payment, but the Xbox is at another house so I just want him to be able to pay for
it with the funds I add to his account. Can this be fixed?

If you have missed a subscription renewal (due to insufficient funds) then passed payments need to be paid for by credit or debit card. This can't be done by account credit after it has happened. By the looks of the image, it does seem that reoccurring billing
is set-up and is the default. If you don't want this, then you either need to cancel it every month (which is pain) or buy the subscription using a redemption code.

If you sign-in online using your son's Microsoft account and paying using a debit card, just make sure you don't select the option to save the card details. You can also check this by looking at the payment options on the account.

Moving forward, I would pay for the subscription on-line using the gift option and only credit their account if they want to by games or game content as birthday or Christmas gifts.

Same issues. Couldn't migrate the offline account to a LIVE account for a child on the xbox. Had to set the account up online which generated a GamerTag. When I then went to the offline child account on the xbox it asked for the adult login to verify
- did that - then it said the email address for the child account was already associated with an Xbox Live account. The only thing I could do is create a new profile on the Xbox. It's ridiculous there is no way to associate the new Live Account/Gamer Tag
to the exisiting offline account for a child account.

I can see the request 'suspended', i press Accept but a popup will cover the page: ERROR: It's impossible to complete now your request.

(or something like this, i'm italian

).

Nothing about the parent email... :|

It could be because your xbox live account is a childs account. Child accounts cannot play rated M games.
