Child account: Time limits on Xbox don't work

I've set up Family Safety and a child account on our Xbox. I've assigned screen time so that he can watch 3 hours a day.

However, what happens is that after the 3 hours is up, he is simply logged out of his XBox account. But he can still continue to use the Xbox. 15 minutes after time up, he is still watching Netflix on the Xbox without an account being logged in.

Am I missing something or isn't this a huge loophole? How do I configure it that 3 hours screen time is 3 hours, and no apps can be used after??

    P.

    :)

Sorry, frustration not aimed at you. Aimed at Microsoft who tout this feature which doesn't even pass the sniff test.

    "Signed-out content restrictions."

This option doesn't exist. It obviously existed at some point and was removed.

Also, there is no way of turning off the "Skip sign-in" option on the home page anyway. So any child can still access all the apps on the home screen and then are not monitored inside the Family Safety app.

I've been onto Support for an hour about this and they admit this is all true.

Basically, Microsoft Family Safety is useless or a sham, and don't waste your time setting it up

    Hello Oceanclub,

I'm Nilay and I'll be glad to answer your query today.

Accounts outside of your family group aren't subject to screen time limits that you set. To prevent kids from creating new accounts, on your Xbox press the Xbox button, then select System > Settings > System > Signed-out content restrictions.

I'd recommend you visit https://support.microsoft.com/accou...the family,> Signed-out content restrictions. and follow the suggested steps there. Hope there will be a way out.

    Good Luck
    Regards
