    Child account restrictions

The child's account has way too many non-optional restrictions. The birthday on my account has been changed, and yet still experiencing the dumbest restrictions. Not only do I have to add someone as a friend before I can talk to them in a party. I have
never experienced this issue until about a week ago. But now I can't add the person as a friend because of an "error". My parent has set every known social setting to "allow" and/or "everyone", but I still face this issue.

    :)

Is there a way to prevent account deletion on the XBox One?

    Hello there,

Thank you for coming to the Xbox forums. Unfortunately, there is no setting to specifically stop people from deleting accounts on the Xbox one. Is the account that you created for your son a child account, or an adult account with child restrictions?
He has a child account, which has restrictions. However, he is able to bypass all restrictions by deleting every account and creating a new account (not the child account I created).

Xbox One - Changing a Parent Account to a Child Account

Unfortunately it's not currently possible to change an adult account to a child account :( If you wish your son to have a child account then you'd need to set him up a new child account with the relevant settings. You may be able to restrict some of the
features on a parent account but not the full suite that child accounts can restrict.

    Content Restrictions

Hi, is your account under parental controls ?

If that's the case then the parental account will need to sign in and change any restrictions on your account.

If that's not the case and your account is an adult account and you also have a child account signed in that has content restrictions set then those restrictions will also affect the adult account until the child account signs out.

My Number One Thing I hate about Xbox.

Is you account an adult or child account.

As child accounts wont be able to play them as they have a age restriction.
