Child account not functioning properly on Series X

I've recently set up my new Series X, in the same way as my existing One X. My son's child account always has allowed him to play any of my games (that I have given him permission to) on the One X (and this he can do), however whilst the Series X has linked
his account (all his data) it says he doesn't have permission to play any of the installed games, let alone install new ones from the Games Pass. It will migrate our save games so we can play our Halo MCC together, but he cannot play anything on his own.

All it does is try to upsell him to have his own subscription. I am confident that this is a bug, and not the design intention. Does anyone know how to resolve this, or how to raise a ticket to get it resolved (manual fix or maybe for everyone)?

It sounds like your new console is not set as your home console. More details can be found here:

Setting the new console as your home console will allow anyone who uses it access to your games and subscriptions without you having to be logged in.

wi7bit has it correct. Setting that in the Settings > General > my Xbox home, sorted it out

The last insider update was focused on the dolby vision, and since it's a beta version, bugs can occur, I believe it's a bug of the build itself, others might be experiencing as well, but I do not get any other reports of this yet. But since you have reported it on the insider hub, others will too, i believe, and this will be addressed by the Insider development team.

Yes I usually report all glitches to MS. I was trying to see if this is an isolated glitch or affecting TCL TVs or even other brands as well. Also if anyone knows a workaround.
