    Child Account Help?


    Hello, I made this account a while back and I created it as a child account for my son and I've been running into some issues recently. I've had many games in the past say that it cannot download because of it being a child account, such as the Star Wars
    Battlefront Beta. I was wondering if there is any possible way to work around this issue and promote the account before the birth date reaches 18 years. Thanks

    As long as they can actually play Mature rated games online on this console then i'm happy.

    Good day!

    Apologies, but unfortunately your Xbox One will automatically promote the child account to adult once it is the legal adult age in your region. You can not change the DoB on an Xbox Profile, sorry.

    Help with child account?

    You will need to setup a new email account for the child

    change the email address on his account to the new account

    Setup your xbox live account with your email address

    pull in his account under your xbox live account as a child account in under your master family account
