child account help

I have a child account on xbox and im 18. I made the parent account because my parents didnt have one and i thought it wouldnt be a big deal, thought that when i turned 18 my account would automatically update or something to an
adult account but it didnt and i dont know the email or password for the account i made i thought it was
[Mod Removed] but when i went on the site it said there wasnt an email like that but when i put it in on xbox it said it sent an security code to that email to verify so idont know. Im wondering is there anyother way i can change to adult account
without doing the whole family thing ?

Unable to add son to xbox one

As above,

Select child
Sign in as parent
get to the 50c card authorisation, add card details
Then get card already exists on account - go through screens - again!!

Then after about 10 minutes updating account it fails with code 45468.7036976521340.5055251569016685

Go to xbox errorhelp - can't find it

Can anybody help please we are pulling our hair out on this

Just to say the card is on account from xbox and also Microsoft accounts linked to the parents account!

okay so i been looking at random things and it turns out i can remove myself from the family on my profile online but not on my xbox which is weird but whatever as long as its not a child account anymore
