    Child Account Cross Platform


    For most this was an issue that had to be resolved by Microsoft because it was a knock on effect from having a family account, but now a setting has been surfaced in the Xbox online settings under Privacy & online safety section (see below) to allow cross-play
    to be enabled. Hope that helps.

    Cross-platform play is disabled for all child accounts? Where is the source for that? I have found nothing on this. Every topic I have ever found on this subject says their child account was corrected when Microsoft released this "cross platform" option

    Thank you for sharing! This is one of our newest additions to the family settings. We are aware that there are still a few out there who are having a hard time with Fortnite in particular and this will really help them out. Nice seeing the Xbox Community

    Hello - I can see the option to enable cross platform play, but have encountered the following issue: When I change the setting from "Block" to "Allow", and then hit "Submit", the page will refresh and the setting will be changed back to "Block". As such
    I am unable to change the setting.
