    child account cross platform play


    Hi, I have given my son an account on xbox - but says its a child account so he can't play cross platform. first he couldn't play Fortnite at all, so changed restrictions and can now play solo only. How can I change his account so he can play duos and squads?

    I have tried in family settings and changed it to adult in there but does not work - this as somewher in the background it is still a child account?

    Xbox one cross platform play on Fortnite

    Because of this issue with cross platform playing on Fortnite in a child’s account, is there a workaround?

    Can we use the adult account and sign into Fortnite using the childs details so we can play with the saved game play up to now? That way we can play cross platform on adult’s account?

    Cross-platform play is disabled for all child accounts? Where is the source for that? I have found nothing on this. Every topic I have ever found on this subject says their child account was corrected when Microsoft released this "cross platform" option

    Child accounts not being able to play is not a bug but part of a feature that is being worked on. We realize that as games evolve so must our security, especially when it comes to child accounts. In the near future, parent accounts will be given the option
    to control whether a child account is able to access cross platform play. We apologize for the temporary inconvenience. Rest assured, this will be taken care of soon.

    BUG - Cross platform play does not enable for child accounts no matter what settings you set. This needs EPIC/MS attention
