Child Account Can't Buy Game

I have a child Account that I have redeemed a $25 gift card on. I want to buy COD Blacks Ops II with it, but whenever I try to buy the game I get this message: "Sorry. Your account is unable to make this type of purchase on Xbox.com. Please complete this
transaction from your Xbox." When I attempted to buy the game, I was using my Xbox, not my computer. I assume that the issue lies in my account being a child account. I want to buy this game, and Microsoft has made gift cards untransferable, so I have to
use this account.

If anyone has any ideas on how to buy the game, please tell me about them below.

How to install XBOX anywhere game on PC using family acount

I can't install ReCore Xbox Play Anywhere on my childs computer using my childs login.

My child account is setup as a family account on my profile, an ReCore is bought using my account (The parent account).

When I find the game in "Store", logging in with my childs account on the PC, it wont let me install on the PC, but want me to buy the game again.

How can I install the game so my chilld can play the game?

I'm trying to buy a game o the Xbox store, but I accidentally set up my account as a child. No matter what I do I can't change my account from child to adult permissions. For some reason I can't add my account can't be added to the family on my Xbox
to change the settings online with another account. I've followed forums, looked at the official site support, other websites, and nothing is works. Can anyone help me?

In order to use the Microsoft account balance to purchase the game, you would have to purchase it on a 360 console. The 360 store is set up differently than the store on the One/website.

You might have a child account which you can't buy items with permission from the adult account.

By design, child accounts of a family pack cannot make purchases. One way you could do this is by buying the MSPs on the main account, transferring them to the child account and then he could buy the game on his account using the points.

You can't downgrade or transfer an adult account to a child account

Your best solution would be to make a new child account and use the home setting feature to share games
