Child account can only play on realms via split screen.

My daughter's child account has been invited and accepted into a realm several parents put together with our children. I'm the only one that uses Microsoft Family and has her added as a child. She cannot join the realm on the console without me there.
She also cannot join from her tablet at all.

I have changed every security setting to match mine, and it still won't allow her to play outside of split screen. We have had this issue for a couple months now, and I'm frustrated.

I would really love to play with my daughter in this community setting without being limited to split screen.

    How do I fix this?

    :)

    1. Join Multiplayer games

    2. Create and join clubs

    3. Add Friends

    4. Others can communicate with voice, text or invites. (Friends or Everbody)

Make sure she is Xbox Live Friends with everyone on the realm and also make sure that she is part of the

Thanks so much! I think the missing part was getting a new invitation to the realm after changing all the settings.

You just helped make our family game time so much better. Thank you.

    Want to play multiplayer locally

each child will need a profile and xbox live account for themselves, then they can both play split screen with each other on games that support split screen, gold is not required for that.

    Minecraft Realm Split-Screen unsynched.

We are having this same exact problem! Hubby joined my realm for the first time using split screen, played for a while. Then logged onto the realm on his own and it was if he had never played, all of his progress gone. Logs back on with me using split screen, and his previous progress is there. It's treating it as if it is two separate accounts.
