Is Chessmaster Live available for any xbox consoles? Digital download? When I search it shows up but not seen in downloads.

Chessmaster Live was the only option to play chess with a friend over XBL when it released. There are other options now, as one of the above posters listed. I was extremely disappointed in Chessmaster, as the PC versions are cheaper and so far ahead it shouldn't
even share the same name(maybe why it was taken off).

What a shame. I used to play Chessmaster on the PS2 & PSOne. Now that I finally have a 360 again, I was hoping to get a copy.

I emailed Ubisoft and was told that It has been permanently removed. When I asked why they did not reply. If you purchased it prior to it being removed you can download again via your Purchase History. No one else will be able to download it again as
a first time purchase because they will not find it since as I mentioned it has been permanently removed.

Hi Mel,

As Denis, mentioned it could be delisted from the developer. It can still
show up in the store. But wont be able to download it.

Okay, quite a shame as that is the best chess game I ever played. Anyway, thanks for the info.

imagine having friends or family that live hundreds of miles away, oh wait might as well spend a few $$ for plane tickets or a long car ride to play a round of chess.
