Discus and support Checking for Updates in XBoX Accessibility to solve the problem; Have an Xbox series X that out of the box can't get past the screen.     Checking for Updates


    Have an Xbox series X that out of the box can't get past the screen. Just keeps saying checking for updates, then pops up an error message. Connected it to both bands on wireless, tried a hardwired connection, and tried a hot spot. None of these worked.
    Tried an offline update through a flash drive, after powering up it went right back to the checking for updates screen.

    May I know what app is constantly checking for updates? Are you not able to open the app without the update? Is this on your PC? Thanks!

    No option to manually check for updates

    System update under controller update? That's a good, logical place for it. <sarcasm>

    I'm not sure about the 50hz.

    Settings > System. There is a few options there on the left side.

    Name

    Info

    Restore Factory defaults

    Update Cobtroller

    (if there is an system update it appears here)

    The option to get the system update will only show up if there is an actual update to get. It will be under update controller if its available.
