Checkerboard screen

Hi all.

I was playing on my Xbox one earlier, I switched it off & went out. Came back, switched it on & I now have a checkerboard screen? Looked about for options & found nothing. Xbox call back isn't working, as they've found a glitch when I ask to call back &
the ambassador section is a waste of time too.

Anyone came across this problem?

Tried the famous hard reset ?

 

Sounds like when my 360 video card blew out

 

There are some issues with LIVE at the moment.

While it's unlikely this is the root cause of it this the best thing you can do (even though it's incredibly frustrating) is turn everything off and leave it.

Give it a go tomorrow if you can wait that long.

If there's still an issue then there may be a hardware fault and you'll need to speak with Support, but we're used to getting what we want immediately and want an immediate fix when sometimes all you need to do is wait.

Let us know how you get on in the end though.

 

try a differnet hdmi cable and port, unlug power from the one for half an hour.
