  1. "Check your Connectivity" Xbox Music Streaming


    I'm an active Xbox Music Pass subscriber, one month into a twelve-month subscription. I'm trying to stream music from the Xbox Music app on my Nokia Lumia 920 (AT&T, OS version 8.10.12393.890) and I've been having issues since yesterday afternoon. I'm unable
    to stream, well, most of the available catalog. Just about any "Top Music" tracks will play just fine, but once I want to get away from hearing "Uptown Funk" or "All About that Bass" for the twentieth time and move to anything else, I get the following message
    pop-up;

    "Check your Connectivity

    "Sorry, we're having difficulty playing that right now. Please check that you have cellular or Wi-Fi connectivity, or try again later."

    Streaming these tracks works just fine on my Xbox 360, and some tracks will play just fine. An overwhelming majority, however, will not work. I've tried while connected to Wi-Fi, tried on my cellular data, and the results are always the same; "top music"
    and a smattering of what I ACTUALLY want to listen to will play, but the overwhelming majority of what I want to play will not.

    Some of the music this specifically has happened with has been Lucinda Williams' "Car Wheels on a Gravel Road", the "Kill Bill vol. 1" soundtrack, The Iron Horse's "Whole Lotta Bluegrass", Ace of Base's "The Sign", That Handsome Devil's self-titled album,
    "An Introduction to Ellie Goulding", and a ton of others.

  5. Same problem here. Happening since Friday. Bought the 12-month music pass on Pi day. Been a music subscriber since the very first day of the Zune.

    I believe I found a fix to the issue. Seems like the Xbox Music App is not in sync with my Microsoft Account and the subscription is not being read correctly. To fix the issue:

    1. Open the Xbox Music App.
    2. Tap the three dots in the lower corner (...) and choose Settings.
    3. In the settings menu, click on Xbox Music account settings.
    4. Sign into your Microsoft Account. May take a little time, but eventually you should see all transactions on your account. Make sure you see your Xbox Music subscription to the right under subscriptions.
    5. Once I did that, I went back into the Xbox Music app and streaming worked again. Hope this helps you.

    Well... for some reason unbeknownst to me, that worked. I've never had to do that before on any of my WP devices. Thanks for the tip!
