First, we'd like to know what error message comes up when you try to make the purchase on your HTC? Have you also tried on console? What happens there? Please share the exact message, if possible.

On the mobile device, have you tried deleting the app completely, restarting your phone & then reinstalling? Any change?

Can we confirm that the pass itself isn't having any issues by signing in at xbox.com to check the My Account section? Do you see the pass info there?

Please, if you know how to do it, make a Wi-Fi hotspot router on your phone and connect to it.

That way we can isolate the issue, by testing another internet connection, using your mobile data plan.
