Hi everyone,

I'm keep getting the below error when attempting to redeem my game download code.

"Check the instructions that came with your code. You might need to redeem it on a different web page."

It's for Assassin's Creed Unity which I got when I purchased the xbox one early 2015. I didn't think these codes expire.

I've tried several times over today via the console and computer but keep getting the same error.

Any help is much appreciated. Couldn't find anything offering a solution through a search.

i just got the FOR HONOR gold edition

But when i want to use the redeem code it say:

I was experiencing this same exact error and found a way to succesfully redeem it. Here are the steps.

Got to account.xbox.com and make sure the Country in the bottom left corner matches the correct region.

After that use this URL: https://account.xbox.com/PaymentAndBilling/RedeemCode?doRedeem=0&token=#####-#####-#####-#####-##### where you replace the '#####-#####-#####-#####-#####' part with your code

This worked for me and I was able to redeem the code and the console is downloading it.
