Hello,

I bought the XBOX One S Fortnite Bundle and would like to activate the Fortnite Code, but I get the following error message:

"Check the instructions that came with your code. You might need to redeem it on a different web page."

I tried it in chrome, and edge browser, on the xbox One S and in the XBOX App on Windows 10, but it don´t work :-(

Now, the customer service closed and I can´t solve the problem before monday.

Can somebody say, it´s a problem with the Microsoft server or a faulty code?

If the code would be faulty, I must get another error message, like:

Code not found. Try re-entering it. If that doesn't work, contact the merchant.

Need help with an error message I keep getting when entering a pre paid code!

i just got the FOR HONOR gold edition

But when i want to use the redeem code it say:

PS: The card says it has to be activated on microsoft.com/redeem and I tried it many times on this website.

From the sounds of it. it's likely that you'll need to contact Xbox Support directly. Within the above shared link. Scroll down threw the information until you see the "Support Resources" section. Then choose the "Contact
Us" option. Once in the Customer support section. For step one choose "Billing". For step two choose "Prepaid codes". Then skip to step four and either choose "Chat with Xbox Support" or "Request a call from Support".

Yes, its a 25 character code.

 

Try changing the console region. That can help sometimes with redeeming codes.

I don't think the code is faulty. Try to contact support again so they can assist you with this matter, they are available on weekends as well. Sorry for any inconveniences this may cause.

 

This problem is happening to others, this will be fixed soon
