    Check online status error?


    My xbox wont start any game i have: Madden 15 (Downloaded), Plants vs Zombie; Garden Warfare (Downloaded), Destiny (Disk). I keep getting some error code that tell me that i have to be signed into xbox live? I will be in a party talking to friends and i
    can look at the store but i cannot start any game. I've tried a hard reboot and I've tried other games. Nothing so far is working. Any help or suggestions?

    New Xbox Experience - appear offline?

    In the previous dash it had a dropdown box with 'appearing online' and 'appear offline' along with a status to the left that showed how you appeared to everyone else. Now in the new xbox dash it shows a box which changes between appear online and appear offline, with no status. So my question is whether 'appear online' showing on the button is my current status meaning I am showing as online, or what the button will do if I select it, meaning I am currently offline? I've tried going on the xbox 360 with an alternate profile to check it but it doesnt seem to make a difference.

    Can't see when friends come online.

    Check Your Prefernces and changed your online status from busy to online

    Try uninstalling then re-installing the games. If that does not work, contact Xbox Support! Check online status error? :)

    Check the status of your gold membership or if you have been suspended. Do you get any error code when you try to play online?

    When I try to go to GTA online. It tells me my profile does not have permission to access GTA online. I'm current with my gold membership.

    Hi there, I'm not sure if you're still receiving the same error now, but if you get it in the future it can be due to a few things:

    1. Check Xbox Live service status:
    support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status

    2. Check GTA online Server Status:
    support.rockstargames.com/.../200426246

    3. Double check that your Xbox profile's privacy and security settings allow online play:

    support.xbox.com/.../manage-privacy-safety-online

    4. If it's none of the above, quitting out of GTA and signing out and back into your profile has cleared the issue for some users.
