Xbox Gift Card Balance Not in List of Payment Methods for Xbox 360 Store, but Works Fine with Xbox One Store

Hello,

I am unable to purchase games on the Xbox 360 store using my gift card balance. The gift card balance does not show as an available payment method during checkout. My credit card is the only available method.

However, the gift card balance is available and works fine when purchasing games from the Xbox One store.

Does anyone know why this might be? I couldn't find anything in the forums about this.

Thanks for bringing this inquiry to our attention! Unfortunately the only ones who would be able to check the current balance on the card (without redeeming on a Microsoft account) would be a retailer (Microsoft store or Original Point of Purchase). Try
them and let us know how it goes!
