CHEATING

Xbox live should be called CheatBox Live. Seems Xbox doesnt care if people cheat anymore, and they do not ban their consoles or gamer tags. Microsoft just wants to collect the money for the service. If they ban a console they loose money and the person just
j-tags the machine and uses an online spoof to cheat anyway. Microsoft is bad as the dirt bags cheating just more greedy. There are so many cheaters in every lobby in Black ops 3 there is at least 4 or five people cheating. Its just rediculous

my local game store the basement is having a sale on copies $3 each lol its worth it for the cheats...the cheats alone are miles ahead of gta 5s cheats

Farming isn't cheating, farming golden keys is cheating, hence why they keep getting patched out.

 

Enforcement action is taken but it only lowers the reputation and puts the user in a bad sport lobby. If it is intense cheating such as unlocking stuff that you do not deserve then they may receive a suspension. Console bans are only enforced if the user
has modified the console in any way or has toke part in modifications in any way.

 

Cheat Box Live - I'm loving that !!!!! From now on I will be using that whenever I reference XBL (or CBL).

It is infested with cheats and always will be until CBL stop turning a blind eye towards cheating.

 

People caught cheating are banned all the time.

Ultimately it's down to Activision to police their servers but why would they when another COD game is coming out the following year.

In 13 years of xbox live I've probably come across a dozen people cheating,most of the time it's just someone with a crappy connection or they are better than you.

 

It’s not Activision I pay for online gaming, I pay Cheat Box Live and they cannot deliver on maintaining a fair gaming environment. In any other situation this would be an issue for the company you have paid to deliver the service but Cheat Box Live are
washing their hands of this responsibility. They have even gone as far to devise their system so that you cannot speak to anyone regarding this matter.

For example take Cod4. There are nearly 100k modified gamer scores. Every time I play there are mod menu’s appearing on the screen, players underneath maps, outside maps and inside objects. There are players teleporting, using wall hack, permanent UAV, extra
health and auto-aim (or aim bots). There are also many players without a prestige icon. How is all this down to bad connection or players being better than you???

Cheats are also able to force being host and then de-rank you with a huge amount of XP so that you are permanently stuck on rank1 with no guns. This is not fair to genuine gamers. If you ever play the game look and see how many players are stuck on rank1
because they unwittingly entered a modded lobby and did not know they should dashboard instead of just leaving the game.

Most sessions I go on there I will encounter more than a dozen cheats so you are trying to paint a picture which simply isn’t true. In fact I was messaged today by a player offering to give me cheats.

No action is ever taken against cheats on Cod4. Not even the most blatant cheats who have been cheating regularly for years. They send messages out offering cheats to players and inviting them to join modded lobbies as they know for sure that no action will
be taken against them and they are correct.

I am sure that complaints filed for cheating on COD4 are routinely ignored as is evident to anyone who actually plays the game. Due to naturally dwindling numbers and genuine gamers not playing anymore due to the high levels of cheating there are not many
lobbies but often you are left with a scenario of put up with cheats or don’t play at all. This cannot be right.

I realise that you will never stop all the cheating but a lot could be done to eradicate the bulk of it but this will never happen with the current setup and approach of turning a blind eye to the problem.

To be honest if the developers make the game, use their own servers and are responsible for policing them I’m struggling to see what role Microsoft does play in this except pocketing all the cash.

I just went in to have a look in a few different lobbies (as a test for the purpose of this post) and there were at least 8 cheats on there that I know of. One guy spawning and teleporting outside the map etc. It’s every time you go on there.

 

Activision run the servers so it is ultimately down to them.

It's well known they pretty much abandon the COD games a few months after release.

Report anyone you think is cheating & they will be investigated & action taken if needed.

Microsoft comes down very hard on anyone caught cheating,might be worth actually finding out how xbox live enforcement works before making nonsense statements about them doing nothing.

 

Badger it is you that is making nonsense statements and you clearly do not understand how the enforcement team works.

They do not investigate any reports of cheating on cod4. That is a fact.

What they want you to think and what actually happens are not the same thing. Your blind loyalty and naivety is preventing you from questioning the BS they are expecting you to regurgitate.

 

I know exactly how xbox enforcement works,& I clearly know a lot more than you do,i've been doing this a long time.

EVERY report is investigated,that is a FACT.

I am not loyal to any console so do not assume that I am.

Plenty of people have being doing a job for years and are still hopeless at it.

Why don't you point me to where the enforcement team state they investigate every complaint. The only reference I have ever seen was in a video where they refer to investigating every communication complaint but that is not the same thing. My guess is they
operate on targets and the easiest way to meet those targets is to deal will the easiest complaints which is why they are all over communication complaints.

You obviously do not play cod4 because if you did you would know you are talking absolute rubbish.

If every complaint is investigated why are the same habitual cheats (who are blatant and play regularly) still on there today as they have been for over 5 years with no action ever having been taken despite numerous complaints from genuine gamers???? People
have posted videos on youtube clearly showing them cheating but even the worst offenders do not get banned.

Do you know how many people work in the enforcement team?? and do you know how many complaints they receive on a daily basis?? If so do the maths and you will realise that the outcome is impossible. Without extra resources something has to give and that
something is complaints for cheating which is probably the most time consuming to investigate. That is why i do not blame the enforcement team but microsoft should be throwing more resources at it. The problem is they just don't care.

I previously tried to contact the enforcement team on numerous occasions whereby they were very reluctant to open any dialogue. I was threatened with a ban if i continued to ask but one decent member of the team must have taken pity and I received an e-mail
reply informing me that they do not have the resources to tackle the problem of cheating.

You are wrong on this matter but i guess you are one of those people who will never admit it. Please answer my questions if possible.

 

If thats the case then you must be bumping into things all the time.Don't know who told you that they don't have the recourses but it wasn't a member of the enforcement team as you can only contact them by filing a case review if you are on a suspension.

They will not reply to any other enquiries.You probably spoke to someone from phone.chat support & it's well known they are less than reliable when giving out info about xbox live enforcement.

I've played plenty of COD4 in the past so you are wrong again.

It's pretty obvious you are not interested in any answers unless they agree with you,even thought the answers I've given are 100% correct so i'm done here.

You have an awful manner and it is clear you don't have a clue what you are talking about.

It seems like reading isn't one of your strong points either as I actually wrote that I received an e-mail response not a phone call.

It most definitely was a member of the enforcement team as it came from the same member of the enforcement team who issued me a ban for warning team mates that a cheat had just entered the lobby in which we were playing (it was either that or for asking
a cheat to leave the lobby, it's hard to know for sure because the enforcement team are so vague with their justifications).

Once again you are wrong but you are not man enough to admit it. It is more your style to just run away and hide.

 

I just went online and the first lobby I went into there is a well known cheat who is regularly on there and has been for years. He is teleporting, choosing his spawn and using permanent uav or wall hack.

If all complaints are investigated how is this guy still on there? I've reported him countless times and so have others. He makes no secret of cheating so if the enforcement team had ever investigated him he would be banned.

Saying that all complaints get investigated is absolute nonsense.

 

Cheating is at an all time high right now and will only get worse! Xbox live Enforcement receives thousands of reports daily and it also takes at least 7 people to make a report for xboxlive to investigate the matter. As an Xbox Ambassador (which doesn't
mean ****) I have seen many people cheating and reported them only to see them the next day pulling the same crap in what ever game it is. It is very frustrating and just pathetic.
