Cheating on tombraider YET AGAIN. Sabotaging.

It's always the same four people. The girlfriend is on one team.. a boyfriend is ALWAYS (as in I have never seen him on her team) team killing on the other and I just found myself in yet another match (despite having put the whole clan on avoid) doing exactly
the same thing which they have been doing so for a year. They are not just using small exploits.. they have one which allows them to jump into home bases (called agility and it is only meant to be available on single player).Managing to jump into areas not
on the map and things like getting no damage etc etc.

When back in the lobby I copped verbal abuse. During the game I copped verbal abuse from the guy hunting me down and teamkilling me.

It is not just a little bit of team killing. It is sabotaging an entire game and is also used to bully. The "coincidental benefit" is that the girlfriend is at the top of the leaderboards and I have been informed that this clan actually asks people to teamkill
and report innocent people.

These people have been reported several times before by several players and "all complaints get followed up". Yeah right.

I really like being on xbox but.. why doesn't "avoided player" work? FINALLY I start thinking I won't have to run into these players again yet joining quick match I have both teams on an onslaught against anyone who isn't their friends. Now i how to go through
all my friends and see if they've followed me into a game. Again.

THIS is not what people should have to put up with. It's supposed to be a fun game but instead it is ruined for people and it seems they are allowed to. What kind of players do you want on here? My membership is due to run out.. I thought of renewing as
I hadn't crossed paths with these jerks for awhile but now that I have screw it I'm not forking out money for behaviour that is being condoned by xbox.

I'm sorry to hear that the language of Tomb Raider isn't cooperating. Let's see what we can do to get it in the language you prefer.

Usually when a version with the incorrect language is downloaded, it's because of region issues.

To start with, we'll want to make sure that your Account Region (which you can change at
account.live.com) and your Console Locale (which you can change on your Dashboard by going to Settings > System > Console Settings > Language and Locale) are both set to the same region that you're physically located.

Once your account region, console locale, and physical location are all the same, you should be able to delete/redownload the game:

• Go to Settings > System > Storage, find the game and delete it.
• Clear your system cache.
  
• Restart your console.
• Download the game from your
  Download History.

I`ve had the same problem before and it`s a good idea to just sign out of your Xbox live profile and
sign back in for it to take effect and sync.

[/quote] Action may or may not be taken and will not be immediate, so it would be best to just mute the player and/or block communications.

 

Yes I did that meany times months ago. Then I did it again. I tried to do it again and they are already avoided.

I have done all you have suggested and it has done nothing. Back then I even had a voice message bragging about team killing and how complaints would do nothing. This time around I took the person off mute to tell them to stop team killing and they said
I was just jealous of the leaderboards and if I didn't like the way they "have fun" I could leave the game. This is in a public match.. if they want to cheat they should have private matches and not be permitted to bully. I have been coming across this clan
for a year and they are still behaving the same way. If action wasn't taken back then it won't be taken now and if it were immediate then I wouldn't be posting about it yet again several months later.

I have had them on avoided players all this time and it has not worked. It is already sinced as I checked and yes their profile says they are an avoided player. If I put someone on avoided player I want it to actually work. It doesn't and it hasn't.

You've basically just told me thigs I've already done. If xbox wants decent players and not players that ruin games it should actually do something but clearly complaints have been ignored. Hell I would LOVE to be able to tell enforcement who they are and
they could actually go into a match *themselves* and experience how they behave. If they did that something may actually get done.

Avoiding a Player only reduces your chances of being matched with someone, it doesn't eliminate it.

In games where the online has a small community, like Tomb Raider, Avoid doesn't work because there is no-one else to match you with.

 

The above posters are correct. I know its frustrating but the tools are there to help prevent this sort of abuse. Unfortunately (as vote pointed out) it doesn't eliminate the chances completely, it just makes it less likely you will be pitched in the same
game as them again. I have tried playing Tomb Raiders multiplayer myself and the community on there seems rather weak, so its quite likely that you are still being put in the same game as them due to lack of other lobbies.

That is just a guess though.

 

A wish list.. yes perhaps that may seem helpful but since complaints from numerous people have been ignored I do not have much faith in that either.

They have actually broken Live rules. That should be sufficient.

What I wish for is for admin to actually join one of their matches and see how they play for themselves. It's not a good experience and I get the impression that Live doesn't actually witness the behaviour first hand.

 

Actually Morigan they do this more regularly than people think.

I'll play "Diablo III", "Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate" or "Borderlands 2" with you if you fancy a break from "Tomb Raider".
