    Cheating on Titanfall 2.


    To those who started playing Titanfall 2 on Friday it probably doesn't come as a surprise that the cheating has already begun. It didn't take the cheaters long to get their cheats. I wonder how they did that? It couldn't be that the Alpha Tech Test game
    the usual suspects a heads-up? Maybe I'm speaking in ignorance. Whatever the source the cheaters have their cheats and there seem to be more cheaters this time around than what we saw during the early days of Titanfall. I hope Xbox One sends them where
    they belong again and has found a way to keep them there.

    Cheating in Titanfall 2.

    It's a poorly programmed game, to say the least.

    Robots that shoot through walls, don't take the normal damage and every, other, random CHEAT makes it in-playable (if you want to have fun).

    Cheating in Titanfall 2.

    Whoever is handling the cheating enforcement for TF2 is doing, at the very least, an awful job. Is the player base so low for TF2 that Xbox is afraid of offending cheaters? I just got out of a game where I was being shot at and hit from halfway across
    the map just as I stepped out of a doorway! Not all games are this bad, but most of them have three to four cheaters who might have at least one cheat, which is usually health, and it's enough for them to run the game unless my fellow have enough experience.
    Increasingly, like a spreading epidemic, wall hack is making a comeback. Titanfall 2 is a great game, but it's thoroughly hacked and it doesn't seem to be the case that Xbox cares very much about it.

    I'm not the best at Titanfall 2 (or any FPS for that matter) but as I've played, I've never seen anything out of the ordinary to suggest hackers. The scores at the end of the game are usually close, too. However, if you do feel like people are cheating,
    the best recourse is to report their gamertag. If they are cheating, Enforcement will serve a suspension. If they aren't, they will get to continue to play with no harm done to the innocent.

    I'm upto Gen8 and haven't seen a single cheat on Titanfall.

    Respawn has confirmed that while anti-cheat measures exist for Titanfall, they're yet to be switched on.

    Software engineer Jon Shiring explained on Twitter that the developer has tools in place to prevent aiming hacks and the like, though the fact they're yet to be activated explains why in many cases they seem to be running rampant.

    @Peyman_std @DKo5 we have anti-cheat but it is not enabled yet - it will be soon. This is important to us.

    Shiring did make clear, however, that Respawn is aware of who is cheating and punishment will be doled out in due course, saying "We ARE catching them. We are not yet ENFORCING it."
