Cheating on increase

I know that the xbox team is working hard to cut the cheating out online but i have been playing today and there were a clan on using LMG's Dingo and i thought this guy was cheating so i messaged him and he said whats it to do with me if him and his mates
where cheating i mean what can u say to that i didn't want to leave lobby so i stayed on and after another game they all left which was ok but i felt for the people of the next game they joined if i had not confronted the guy he and his mates would ave contiued
doing it i know we cant name people but i think somethink needs to be done to address the problem

Keyboard Support: Possible Removal

Trying to work out how using a keyboard/mouse equates to cheating or an increase in cheating.

May as well say cheating has been on the increase since the elite controller came out while you're at it.

There is no way you would know if cheating reports have increased or not unless you worked for the enforcement team.

Had to resort to using a keyboard to type this post,now I feel dirty :-/

Not much you can do, like you said you "think" they were cheating but can you be sure?

You could try reporting him and his friends (pretty sure there is a cheating option in the report thing) and then you could set your Xbox to avoid those players, that way you'll never play against them again

 

^^^All of the above, just move on, if people are cheating take comfort that they will be caught at some stage, that is the nature of the beast that is xblive.

 

Yeah in Cod Blops 3 90% of the dodgy players are all new XB live accounts with 10-50gs I noticed. banning accounts isn't enough should ban the console. Same way if PC devs banned the Mobo chipset they would need another pc to play it again would be a heck
of a lot less cheaters.

 

This subject in a thread has cropped up so many times over the past.

They cheat to win, to rank up quickly, etc, when all they are really doing is spoiling it for everyone else.

The only way to cure it is as mentioned above, perma-ban of the console.

 

All you can do is report them. It is a sad fact there will always be a few that will ruin it for others.

 

Cheaters will always be around due to there being holes in every games coding which can allow cheaters to abuse that to their advantage, some game developers such as Bethesda have implemented anti cheating software into their multilayer games which has actually
worked, sadly cheaters will just make a new account and countiue plauging games causing more and more disruption and corruption to the rest of the online gaming community.
