CHEATERS

Why do cheaters still play the game, I have been reporting these same cheaters for as long as I can remember?!?!?!? I remember when I reported a cheater, I had a response from someone in XBOX saying "Thank you". Basically saying I have done my job and
they have taken care of the cheater. But now, they are so worried about their new servers that they don't care about XBOX 360???? WE are still paying for the same service, AREN'T WE???? WHERE IS XBOX 360 MODERATORS?????????? I am seriously thinking about
switching the PS system, instead of purchasing the XBOX One. From what I have seen, these people only care about the bottom line...MAKING MONEY just like the rest of the United States. XBOX has become a joke now and letting these cheaters run their business
because they are the ones paying for it. While the rest of us pay the yearly fees and expect fair play, when the CHEATERS continue to run the show!!!!!!!!! GOOD LUCK XBOX and microsoft in the future.

Damn, apart from the cheaters my disqus group has more than any ign club lol.

 

It's up to the developer's to patch their games to keep cheaters out. Unfortunately with games like Call of Duty, once a new one comes out, the developer's ignore the old ones. The same thing would happen on the PS.

 

XBL do not care about cheating it has nothing to do with Xbox1. XBL have been turning a blind eye towards cheating for years.

I don't agree with Smwutches. Gamers do not pay the developers an annual subscription fee to play online. We pay XBL for this and I don't see why it is not the responsibility of XBL to ensure this environment is free of cheats. Unless of course the developers
are paid a percentage of the XBL subscription to perform this task? I suspect this is not the case and XBL are taking the money and providing a sub-standard service.

Why should the game developers constantly patch these games and police these games when they get no money for doing so? Someone has to pay for this expense so this is clearly not a viable solution. XBL on the other hand do receive ongoing funding from gamers
to provide this service but they would rather pass the buck and make a ton of cash.

 

The games themselves run through the developer's servers, in this case Activision. Microsoft can suspend/ban people all they want, but they'll just come back (this also goes for any service). If the developer's patch their games to stop the ability to cheat
in the first place, it wouldn't be so prominent. But as I said, with franchises like Call of Duty, they release so many of them that they stop caring about previous versions once a new one is out.

 

What the h*** can you do about people who do known cheats on games are reported and then nothing happens!!! Why am I paying for a service that's supposed to punish people for cheating and doesn't!!!!
