Cheaters

I (and many of my friends) are completely disgusted with all the cheating going on in COD AW. Most of it is lag switching, but there are many old fashioned aimbots and wall hacks too.

I realize it's "Hactivision's" responsibility to police this, but I also think that Xbox Live! needs to be aware of this as being a very serious issue on their servers. My clan and I have not found ONE clean lobby in the last 36 hours. Now with the first
clan war starting it's even worse.

To the folks at Xbox - by allowing this franchise to ignore the cheaters you're blemishing your name, and you're allowing people to become disenfranchised with one of the best selling products ever for Xbox as well as your Live! serice. Many people blame
the lag issues on your organization as well.

Just because we're still on the 360 platform doesn't mean we're second-class citizens, and we expect excellence in our service. I've seen nothing of that thus far.

So, my suggestion to you is to get on Activision's butt about not policing their game, not keeping the hackers off and not releasing frequent updates to keep the hackers in check. They're shooting themselves in the foot. I've played COD since version one.
This is the last version I buy, and I hope it's the last version many other people buy as well. By not banning the cheaters they're angering the honest players which far outweigh the dishonest ones. Likewise, the same case goes for Xbox Live!. By your organization
being complacent with Activision and no demanding they get their act together you're only allowing the fire to burn.

Those of us with honesty and integrity in the gaming community (who are more numerous than you think) respectfully request you drop the hammer on Activision and put some serious pressure on them to police their game and keep it clean. Thank you in advance

Damn, apart from the cheaters my disqus group has more than any ign club lol.

 

I am on the XB1 and have the lag as well with a Internet speed of 31/5 and still lag.it's not just Activistion lag is in every COD game. will it get fix maybe one day......

 

It's been a while since I have posted on the forums and I kind of miss it. In older games we used to post a page that detailed cheats and glitches in the game here in the forums. This way everyone knew where the problems were and sometimes had ways of
dealing with these people.

This doesn't help much with lag switching or modified controllers, but it did help to track the bugs in the game like the rooftop. We also kept a list of people we caught using these glitches so that you could avoid them.

 

One used to be frustrated by campers who sat in the shadows shooting at passing players, now we have idiots who use glitches to shoot at you from the horizon in Solar or nut balls who hide in plants in Retreat. I'm not a great player but at least I try to
win or lose with the tools the game gives me, not loopholes. Grrr

 

I play on the 360...have a great connection as well. (90 down, 9 up) It lags every game I am in. But for me, think the big part is the lag compensation. Every lobby it makes me host lol.
