Cheaters

Just wondering if people have found other players [Removed] kills and such in the game.

I have found a number of them even though I'm on 2 or 4 bars of connection I still get killed by someone on 1 bar connection which doesn't added up to them getting the kill. Something needs to be done about this, I sometimes get into lobbies where everyone
is one barring the whole game and its fair but not when its 1 bar vs people with 3-5 bar of connection and you just kill everyone while you're on 1 bar that is just wrong and unacceptable, not mention in my books it's cheating. Don't care where you are in
Australia or anywhere else in the world but I hate cheaters that ruin good games

Damn, apart from the cheaters my disqus group has more than any ign club lol.

 

I'm in Australia and I only play on the US servers for DLC but haven't noticed any cheating on the server here. I have seen some pretty suspicious stuff on the US West DLC playlist though.

 

They have a turn controller off hack out as well. I got into my Titan after I called it in and my controller shut off. My battery's are charged. I don't really care about stats in this game but it's sad that they have cheaters in every game.

 

@Chaos - Connection quality is not the only factor that determines your experience in the game. You having a 5-bar connection and getting killed by someone with a 1-bar connection DOES NOT EVEN COME CLOSE to proving that the 1-bar connection guy was cheating.

I'm Gen 8 Lv 50 and have yet to come across anyone who I thought was hacking/cheating. I've seen videos, but they have all been on the PC.

 

My controllrr goes dead when it says fully charged, piece a krap is why, just leave it plugged in, course i never woulda thouhht it was a hack, must have that hack in bf4 too

300+ hours and seen no cheaters on the One .

im sorry but ive learned to stop trying to base cheating on someones internet connection. Theres no true way for me to judge that persons connectivity unless I was able to monitor packets. The titanfall screen isn't helpful because I run a damn good connection
and it'll show me on 1 bar along with the rest of my team and the oposing

 

The Xbox One has yet to be hacked. It's the main reason I play on Titanfall on Xbox One instead of 360. If I die a lot I know I'm having a bad day and it's not some hacker.

 

I don't think I've encountered a single cheater yet. Some crappy connections yes but I've been at this long enough to not let it bother me.

 

I played with a friend on the US servers (I'm in the UK) and I was the only person in the game with a 1 bar connection and it put me at a disadvantage. I felt like I had to shoot people a bunch more times to kill them.

Check out this clip for instance, which is the most extreme example I experienced: -



I emptied a clip into him and he didn't go down, so I ran up and kicked him - still nothing - so I reloaded and starting shooting him some more, but he still didn't die, then one of his team-mates shot me.

I don't really see how having a terrible connection is supposed to give you an advantage anyway.

The controller thing is a bug that's been present since it launched. Thankfully, via patches and controller firmware updates, the situation is all but resolved, but I still get the very occasional controller disconnect - and it's only ever in this game.
If someone was cheating and making it happen, they'd do it at the absolute worst time for me, but sometimes it's happened right at the start of a round where the other players are across the other side of the map.
