cheaters vs Xbox devs

well ok, think of it this way, they are unable to detect the scripts that are used on controllers because they affect how the controller works not the signal the controller sends to the game.

they can rewrite the game code to detect anomalies but then all that is needed is updated code from the cheat creators side. it is a constant tug of war which has been going on for decades.

as i said, anything that uses electricity can be cracked one way or another, if you want the software devs to constantly rewrite game code and update your games to counter this issue then it is going to mean they will have to employ thousands more to work on it. this in turn increases costs and then the customer will be paying a lot more for the games. (a lot more).

Sorry but despite your effort of going in to so much detail that's the biggest load of garbage I've heard anyone dribble, dropping the ball like that doesn't fix the situation, or only makes it worse.

Problem solved...until the people who devised those devices simply work their way around the new firmware and bring out a new version...at which point it all starts again. For MS and game developers, they have to work out if it's worth the amount of time and money it will take each time.

You only have to look at the movie industry to know how it's a vicious cycle....they are constantly adding security measures to Blu-Rays etc and it take pirates no time at all to bypass it

The devices piggyback a legitimate controller. There is no way to detect them. Developers of the games need to implement server side detection for the scripts, which is a far more effective method of detection, as many of them execute things no end user possibly could.

Developers are in charge of their own servers.

They have to get on to it as allowing people to cheat is a violation of their own terms and conditions and code of conduct.
