Cheater banner removed?

It seems with this latest update that the Cheater banner on my account here has been removed.

Also I am now able to change my gamerzone on my console to something other than Cheater.

However people will be pleased to hear that cheated games still can't be removed from the played games list.

I'm not trying to contest the placement of the Cheater marks. I did the crime and I was damn lucky not to be banned for it. I am however keen to know why the marks have been removed.

Posting this in the Account Suspension section was something I considered but it doesn't really fit. Perhaps I should reconsider?

The bans and suspensios last for a set number of days/weeks possibliy even Month/Years. So my guess is that, the cheater zone lasts for a set number of weeks/months before being removed from your profile.

That is only my guess though. honestly I don't know how the Cheater thing even works. However you did also say that you could not remove the cheated games from your games list. This could be an indication that it wasn't a glitch, and in fact it was because
you may have served your sentence that the XBLPET gave you. Like all sentences and hard time, you come out with a Record, just like the games that you can not delete. A record that YOU have cheated in the past before.

I think it's Pretty cool that you learned your lesson and fessed up to it being gone. However, like Sunk, I do believe as long as you don't cheat again, it will remain gone.
