    Cheap Hardware


    I received an xbox one console for christmas this year. I opened the box and set it up and everything worked just fine, however, before even the end of the month, i experienced an issue with my headset. After already having had the headset replaced under
    warranty, i realized that the issue was actually with the connector inside of the controller. I put in a request to have the controller replaced under warranty 4 days ago and it still has not been confirmed.

    Console gaming used to be easy.

    PC isn't cheaper on the hardware front. On the game front, it is only cheaper if you wait for sales. Day one is about the same price. It certainly isn't cheap enough from a day one perspective to offset the hardware refreshes required.

    Yea, *only* $10/month or $120/year for a cheap piece of hardware that's worth maybe $30 in the real world. Sounds like a deal!

    Sorry, but I really hate the way cable companies charge a premium for cheap, outdated, and usually used hardware. If you search eBay then you could probably find a used cablebox (the same your company will likely give you) for much cheaper.
