    Something tells me to stay away from the cheap hybrid 4K TVs

    Hdmi cable question ?

    I also looked at cheap HDMI 4k capable cables, they are 24k gold, and 10.2Gbps so not that much different.

    Cheap 4k TVs?

    It really depends on your definition of "inexpensive", the size of the TV, what features you want, and what store you'd like to get it from.

    I'm seeing them go as cheap as ~$300 (for a 50") in places like Walmart right now. I'd recommend saving up for a name brand quality 4K set with HDR if you want the most out of it.

    I managed to snag my 4K from last year's Walmart Black Friday sale for $300... kinda regretting the lack of HDR support.

    Cheap ?? I picked up an Silo brand 48" TV from Fry's Electronics for $249.99 . Has 4 HDMI 2.0 ports & HDCP 2.0 compliant . Only downside is no HDR . Have an HTPC hooked to it & when I boot the pc it automatically turns on the TV . Other quark is the on
    button is red & off is green on the remote (China/Korean sourced remote ?) . Good for the price . I did hook my Xbox One S to it and was disappointed that YouTube is still only 1080p on the app .

    It worth the upgrade in my opinion. 4k and hd for me it is day and night. but its up to you, and its reasonably cheap compared to a 4k tv
