    I have a question regarding my friends' list across Xbox generations.

    I am planning to purchase the new Xbox series x and I am wondering if I will still be able to talk to my Xbox one friends. I have a few friends that I talk to daily on my Xbox One, and a few of them will not be getting the Xbox series x. I am wondering if
    I will still be able to be in parties with them from my Xbox series x with their Xbox ones.

    That's good to know since a few friends aren't going over to the X1 right at launch. It's nice to have the ability to chat across platforms.

    If you ask me I think not allowing chat between generations is the most monumental oversight that Microsoft has made in this new generation of consoles.

    I hate that I have to run my 360 just to talk to my friends.
