Chatpad UK Layout issue

I've noticed an issue with the chatpad on consoles set to the UK location where the @ and " inputs are mapped to the wrong buttons. This will require an update to fix.

The issue is not present if the console is set to other English languages such as US.

Is it possible to change the chatpad layout?

I recently switched my keyboard layout to DVORAK. Is anyone aware of any way to can change the chatpad layout from QWERTY to DVORAK? Its rather counterproductive to the transition when i have to switch between the two.

 

Anyone here still has or use the white chatpad?

I still use a white chatpad, as black versions were not available here in the UK when I purchased my Elite.

Your chatpad serial number ends with the letter B, E, F, G, or S to indicate which language it supports—British-English, US-English, French, German, or Spanish. So you might have a chatpad which is intended for the US region instead of the UK region

 

Just found this post. Mine is doing the same thing. So my question is, why did Microsoft sell me a chatpad intended for the U.S when I live in the U.K? What nonsense.
