    Hi everyone,

    So my issue seems to be with the mic portion of the chatpad. I got the chat pad and plugged in my headset, did the controller update and everything worked.

    About a month later, the mic seems to not pick up any sound from me, my team mates cant hear me, i can hear them and the keyboard itself works.

    I have tried several tests to isolate the problem:

    1- i plugged in two different headsets after using my main one, still had the issue

    2- I tried a restart, hard restart, unplugging and plugging the chatpad and mic, still had the issue

    3- Plugged the mic directly into the remote, issue was fixed, everyone hear me and no problems

    I figured it was the chatpad that had an issue, went to change it and the new one is giving me the same problem right away.

    Does anyone know what can be done to fix this?

    Issue:

    When I plug in my Xbox One Chatpad (I have two now so its not likely defective itself) I am able to hear everything fine and use the texting of the pad, but an
    Unable to speak (as in no one can hear me speaking).

    When I unplug the Chatpad and have just my controller and XO 7 Pro Gaming Headset plugged in, everyone can hear me fine.

    But when I re-attach the Chatpad itself, my personal audio goes out again. (And again, I can still hear everything fine and use the chatpad itself.

    I can safely assume my controller and XO7s are working fine (As they work just fine separately).

    I can also assume the chatpad itself is not defective (as I said, its my 2nd one and every feature other than my personal voice-outgoing works fine with it).

    TLDR:

    No one can hear me when I have my Chatpad inserted, but can hear me fine when I don't have it inserted. And yes, I need it Chatpad Issues (keyboard works, can hear team they cant hear me) :D

    Headset Microphone problems from latest NXOE update 1/23/16

    I'm having the same issue with the Xbox branded headset when plugged into the Chatpad. Happened after one of the updates. I can hear fine but no one can hear me.

    It's definitely some sort of issue with the update. I bought brand new controllers, Chatpad and mic to verify same issue with the new ones

    I have the same problem, and this only happenned since the 14th of March. This appears to be a software issue; The microphone works when plugged into the chatpad; if I adjust the mic monitor settings I can hear myself, but the party cannnot hear me when using the chatpad. I've confirmed both the controller and chatpad are up to date wrt software updates, so I suspect that an xbox console update may be the cause. Please help. I'm using an xbox one x, elite controller gen 1 with the chatpad.

    My Turtle beach px5 is now not working on my xbox one for some reason.. I think its because it have the early preview access and when i did the update for oct. it stop working.. I cant chat with my friend in party or game chat... Not even skype...

    Unplug your Xbox then plug it back in. It clears the cache or something. Works every time for me. Happens a bit to often tho
