Chatpad audio output issue since latest system update

Basically soon as I start a twitch stream or youtube while using the audio out jack on the chatpad, I'm getting some loud fast pulsating noise if not an all out loss of sound. It happens on and off cutting out the audio with this
noise, until doing so indefinitely, requiring the 3.5mm jack to be pulled out and plugged in again, only for the sound issue to arise again and again after some time has transpired. I don't get this issue (thus far) when playing any microsoft game. But it
arises in the menus sometimes and most often within minutes of starting a twitch stream or youtube. It doesn't matter if I use apple earpods or Sades930 headset, which both work fine on PC. I've tried changing all the audio settings I can and still nothing.

    :)

Chatpad Orange Button Blinking after Update

    Hello yammerbox.

    See the quote below:

Connecting the Xbox One Chatpad for the first time

You must update both your Xbox One console and your Xbox One Controller for the Xbox One Chatpad to work correctly. Follow these steps:

Update your console to the most recent Xbox One operating system. The chatpad requires your console to have a November 2015 (or later) update. For more information, see Xbox One operating system versions and system updates.

Turn on your Xbox One Controller.

Insert the chatpad into the controller.

Update your Xbox One Controller. The orange LED will blink to indicate that it's connected and requires an update. See Update your Xbox One Controller for more information.

Connect a 3.5-mm audio headset cable to the chatpad. For more information, see Connecting a compatible headset to Xbox One.

Here is the link to the above information:
    support.xbox.com/.../xbox-one-chatpad-info

The orange blinking light means it needs an update, it says "You must update both your Xbox One console and your Xbox One Controller for the Xbox One Chatpad to work correctly."

Since your using it with your PC, attach a micro usb cable, run a update scan for Windows & Microsoft updates, and make sure all drivers are installed.

I Would Like to get full HD Audio Support on the XBOne

The issue is that when you select bitstreaming, the Xbox One will decode the HD Audio, mixes in its own audio, and then outputs it in either legacy Dolby Digital or DTS. Very old school.

If you select PCM output, the system decodes the HD Audio, mixes in its own audio, and then outputs it in PCM. I think most of us "audiophiles" would like the system to simply pass/offload the audio to our receivers so it can do the decoding. Something my
old PS3 has done for years now.

    I would like this fixed.

    Headset audio suddenly stopped working

Lets try to update the software of the headphones with these steps:

Right-click on the start menu and select the Device Manager. Then right-click on Audio inputs and outputs and choose Scan for hardware changes. It will automatically search and install the latest version of the audio driver in your system.

Audio is delayed when using DTS over optical.

Latest update does not fix this unfortunately. However, just before the latest patch I noticed that if I play with the audio settings by constantly switching both hdmi and optical to different ouputs, I can sometimes randomly get the optical output to not
be delayed. I've then managed to watch a whole bluray with no audio lag, but it will go back to being delayed when I turn the xbox back on again.

When playing with the settings, it's also possible to get it to play audio via hdmi when the setting is set to off, so these controls definitely have issues.

March Xbox update bricked (RROD) my Xbox

I hadn’t used my 360 in about 2 months but saw the latest dashboard on a friends and decided to update. The console powered on fine, I was able to download and apply the update but upon the system restarting I did not get any video or audio output in addition
to the controller no longer syncing. I have tried multiple hdmi cables and component cables on 2 different tv’s with the same result.
