"Chat with Microsoft" screen requires first and last name, but wont accept text in ...

Guys,

I'm having multiple problems, the first is holding up any further solutions

On the below linked page, the page requires that I type in my first and last name, but it won't let me type anything in the box.. so I can't use the text chat with MS.

"Chat With Microsoft" - impossible to start

Hi,

This is driving me insane. I have another issue, that I want to use the "Chat with Microsoft" facility but, I cant start because it requires my first and second name but these boxes are grayed out so that I cant enter my first and last name!

First name and last name fields were disabled. I removed the disabled option on the text input fields in Google Chrome Developer Console and submitted the form before the chat would work.

Something is seriously wrong here.

I should add that I am logged in at this point... the webpage has automatically filled in my email address.

Ive been having the same issue with all of my games and im using a HP Pavilion Notebook 17-g113dx.

Win 10 home version 1511 (OS Build 10586.36).

On another note(which what brought me here) im not able to use the support chat cause it wont allow me to type in my first and last name which are required fields naturally along with the email to begin a chat.

No phone number on contact page. Attempted chat with IE, Edge, Firefox and chrome. It requires I enter first and last name but fields are grayed out and do not allow for entry. Attempt to proceed fails due to empty name fields

Same here. Just signed in this morning, and usually the system chimes once in one tone while a loading icon spins in the center of the screen then produces a second, different chime once I have been properly signed in. This time, it chimed 2-3 times while
repeating the loading icon, then went to an alphanumeric text interface, asking for my first name (something to the effect of "that is familiar to friends and family") and the asked for my last name. No other explanation was given as to why this information
was required. Upon providing this personal info. , I was then signed in but friends list and activities are down. This is odd. Would appreciate an official response from a Microsoft representative. I am very weary when it comes to providing personal information
when I am normally not required to do so...
