chat trouble

hi everyone.

I'm hoping someone can help me. a few months ago my xbox one stereo headset broke. i bought a new turtle beach set, everything was fine for about 2-3 months. then all of a sudden qhen i put my headset on, i can hear everything in the game, except people
talking. i thought it was just the game so left it a few days and then it still kept happening. i searched all the forums trying everything. hard reset. opening nat. i even boughta new headset and controller....this worked for all of 10 minutes before one
ear went quiet and then when it came back i couldnt hear again. so I'm thinking its the headset but to have 2 failed heatsets is ridiculous. but also if i take out the headset i cant hear out of the tv speakers either. I'm at a loss and the console is about
to go out the window.

any help appreciated.

Chatting Troubles

Recently, I haven't been able to talk to my friends on Xbox one. I can hear them Whenever I talk the little ring doesn't come out around my picture. At first, I thought my mic broke because I'm already on my third one, but then I got a new one and the same thing happened. Then, I thought it was my controller so I borrowed one from my cousin and still the same thing. Then, I thought it was my internet, after a whole bunch of internet searches and going around my computer, I managed to change my internet connectivity from a private setting to a public one. Now I'm out of ideas and a speechless gamer profile. Any tips to help me out?

 

Party chat trouble.

I had the same problem with my friends bein shown as offline but for me I left it sit for like 5 minutes and then my friends would pop up.

 

Sorry to hear it. Can you please try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that helps?
