chat support issues

I am having issue signing in to microsoft chat support as the input form is asking for last name in a mandatory field and it does not allow me to enter that name as this is disabled field. can anyone help where should i enter this.

Xbox support chat is a joke. Some go told me to slit my wrists when I asked about an issue I was having.

 

Your name should automatically enter as soon as you sign in to the website you can check your MS account and see if your name settings are up to date which i hope they are.

If the issue still persists then i'd call the US / Canadian phone support 1-800-469-9269 (1-800-4MY-XBOX)

 

in my MS profile it shows the first name and the last name. But in the chat window when I want to enter sujbect to let me chat with the support team, I can not submit as it is not showing last name and neither does it let me enter, since it is an out field
which is disabled for entry.

What support option are you using as this is probably normal behavior to protect your identity especially if you have chosen to chat with a volunteer from the community.

 

Actually I have noticed that this happens with accounts that are set in regions not reached by xbox live service yet. If you are having this issue probably your country is not part of the list in the link below:
