Chat requests on X Box One

Sometimes a chat request or invitation to join comes up but blinks out before I can even read who it is from when I am playing Fable III. Is there some way of letting the message stay onscreen longer? This only happens with that game

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that you are interested in learning how you can alter the timing for pop-ups on the screen. There are notification settings in the Xbox One that allow you to alter how much time a

pop-up remains on screen. The article we provided explains how to access these settings. There are several other alterations that can be made to notification settings. Go ahead and try altering these settings, and be sure to let us know the results!

Thanks for the update. Have you checked your invites also. These could be invites for games on the Xbox one, as you are playing a backward compatible game they may not show.

Additional info: there is nothing in my messages on the console or when I sign in online on the PC and check messages there BornDave 631

one option is to see your notifications, there's the ad held longer, but you need to realize the alert

Random people might sometimes invite you to join a game. You can always check the Xbox 360 notification in backwards compatibility by pressing both the view and menu buttons (the two buttons below the Xbox button)
