    Chat problem Xbox 360 to Games for Windows live


    Me and my boyfriend talk everyday on chat while hes on Xbox 360 i use the Games for Windows Live app on my PC to talk to him. Recently we've been having problems where well be talking and chat will totally go silent for one of us its happened to both of
    us numerous times. Resetting Xbox 360 or the app does nothing. And also tried switching microphones. It happens only for 10 min. or so sometimes or practically the whole day others. What could be the problem ?

    Add Xbox Party Chat for Games for Windows Live

    I dont have my xbox with me so i am on my pc on Games for Windows Live. I can send message and receive message and join private chats. I can do all of that but connect to a xbox live party chat. Can xbox add the feature of xbox live party chat to Games for
    windows live.

    I cant hear anyone in party chat, game chat.

    Me and my friend, we got problem with xbox live chat. We both have xbox 360 + kinect. We used to chat every night through xbox live party. And recently we can't hear any voice in party chat and game chat. But we can hear private chat, and we can do kinect
    video.

    I think the problem could be you NAT.

    Please see this table bellow and find out your NAT type and his NAT.

    [table][tr]OpenModerateStrict[/tr][tr][td]Open[/td][td]YES[/td][td]YES[/td][td]YES[/td][/tr][tr][td]Moderate[/td][td]YES[/td][td]YES[/td][td]NO[/td][/tr][tr][td]Strict[/td][td]YES[/td][td]No[/td][td]NO[/td][/tr][/table]

    So lets say you NAT is Moderate.

    His NAT is Strict.

    Then You would NOT be able to talk to one an other, this could be causing issues.

    Do you live alone? If not are there other people on your network while you talking with him that could be Causing high bandwidth usage?

    What about him?

    Does any one else on his network or multiple people on his network while he is talking to you?

    We both have moderate NAT types. And no one else is on the internet in ether of our houses when we are talking.

    Party App isn't functioning correctly

    This is a joke, constant party app crashes and not able to hear everyone. Why did they change something that worked perfectly fine the way it was? Never had anywhere near the amount of problems with Xbox live party chat on 360. Windows 8 interface is terrible.

    Party Chat--Xbox1-->360?

    Currently through Windows Live you can only private chat (One on one conversations) with players on the 360. I believe it was the same for the Xbox and Xbox 360. It may possibly be stuck to only 1 on 1 chat (Especially if they add more players to the party,
    force camera or any other modifications that the 360 wouldn't support).
