Chat privacy issue

Was playing a game with my friends when all of a sudden I couldn't hear any of them and they couldn't hear me. Checked the party and it said "Your privacy settings prevent chat with some people" and gave me a button to go to my privacy settings, so I clicked
that. Everything was on "Allow" or on "Everybody" so there is no way it would prevent me from talking to my friends. I've tried restarting my Xbox, my internet, I've deleted my account off of my Xbox and then downloaded it back, nothing is working. Any help?
My NAT is Open, by the way.

Fix my Chat privacy issue now

Go to
Sign in to your Microsoft account
look under "Security info helps keep your account secure" and make sure they have a phone and email listed.

If any are missing please add them. If Any ARE listed delete and re-add them. And Save Changes.

Then Restart Console Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide. Select Settings. > Select Restart console. > Select
Yes to confirm.

Once the Console Has restarted you should be able to send messages.

 

Fix my Chat privacy issue now

I recently had an (unjustifiable) chatban end, yet now my console is telling me my privacy settings won't allow chat with other players. Which is false, as all my settings are set to Everybody.

The ban was nonsense in the first place, so I expect this issue to be resolved soon. Sick of giving you people my money for this lackluster service.
