    Chat not working


    i have had the xbox one since it has been out. and since i have had it the party chat is not only hard to use but it almost never works right. also the in came chat doesn't work either so i'm not sure if its a network thing there too or just the game. but
    it makes things really difficult in some games and takes a lot of time as well. how is this fixed or what is being done about it?

    I am seeing the same thing with titanfall. Headset just stops working. It works fine if I start a party and talk though.

    Chat not working

    This problem has been happening since the beginning. Chat sometimes works through my headset, then sometimes it doesn't. It will stop working at different times doing different things. Just now I was playing Titanfall and my chat was working, then
    after the round my chat stopped working. The headset is not the issue as I have two headsets and they both do the same thing. The headset powers on, just doesn't register my voice or allow other players to come through either. The amount of glitches with this
    system is amazing lol.

    Check your nat setting make sure its set to open also try hard reset on your console and reset router to

    Hi there!

    I'm sorry to hear the Xbox is not able to send messages currently. I know that can be frustrating, I'd be happy to help.

    Would you mind letting us know what steps you tried from the help screen and what the error message says or if there is a code that comes with the error?

    If you haven't done so, a great place to start is a
    hard reset and power cycle    . Follow that link and give it a try and then keep us updated so that we may be able to further assist you!

    So why dont you update your service alert it only says core issues. Social is green.

    I have same issue been in pty most of the day but now it stops working muting everyone including me. I can unmute myself but not the others also i have to restart xbox to get out of party chat since it wont let me leave.

    this is bloody stupid why cant you lazy trash do your job and make sure xbox live works you charges enough for it.

    My friend and I had this same problem. We were able to fix the issue by resetting our consoles. This may not work for everyone, since Xbox Live has been having some server problems as mentioned in the above reply.
