chat not working well

I got the stereo headset adapter, did the update on the controller and voice chat only works sometimes! In a private party chat in a lobby it seems to work well enough but the second we get into a game the chat volume is so low and staticky that it may as
well not be working at all. Sometimes I play for a bit and it irons itself out and sometimes it doesn't.

Please note: I've adjusted the chat/game audio balance on the adapter as well as my headset.

Is there an issue that MS is aware of, is there a fix coming down the pipe? It would really be nice if Microsoft just made something that worked for once.

Cross game chat has not worked well for me recently.

Have you spoken with support? Chat tool works well.

Is that what the problems is??? The damn in game chat thing doesn't work?? Well... it works when I join with a party of my own friends... outside of party chat. Why wouldn't it work with other people too?

well im jealous to say the least, wish mine worked flawlessly - and party chat? my party chat hasnt worked since my xbox arrived, not even once - it says can't turn on party chat try again later
