    Chat Not Working on Any Device


    My chat continuously says that it cannot refresh my messages and will not let me a text or see my texts for the last 7 days. It happens on all my accounts on my Xbox One S, my laptop, and my mobile devices. There are about a 20 minutes window every day, that allows me to send messages and receive them, but then it will go back to not allowing me to see them. I do not know what to do, this has never happened before. I tried deleting and redownloading the Xbox apps and restarting router and console many times, please help.

    Extreme, I know and I explained how it could possibly work better for voice chat against a regular xbox headset.

    OP, this is by far the best description & visual demonstration I've seen on the new Kinect's voice abilities & I thank you for sharing it with us. However, I do still have 1 concern - how well will I still be able to hear someone else's voice through all
    of the ambient & game sound. Basically, what happens when I'm on the receiving end? Will the game's audio turn itself down, in which case I might miss an important audio cue to the game but be able to hear the message from the other player? Will I still struggle
    to hear someone speaking to me over the game's volume? Or will it be adjustable similar to like it is on the Xbox 360 now?

    Yes it will. It will work the same as the last Kinect just more powerful and upgraded.
