    Chat not working after ban!


    This problem just occurred a few hours ago. After going through Xbox Live's atrocious customer support and reading on this site as well as others I have come to the realization that they either can not or will not fix this issue. Which brings me to my question
    can I transfer my gold membership, profile, games, etc... to a new account and will that fix said issue? If so how do I do it. If not I will give them a week or so to get their act together or I am going to get a refund, sell my Xbox, and I am going to PS4.
    BTW it seems here lately I have had nothing but problems with Microsoft from Windows 10 to Xbox Live and even their sad attempt at a new web browser. Thank you and good day

    after the 24 hrs, 6 hrs after ban lifted, still cannot communicate via party chat.

    Xbox chat not working after communications ban

    This has been known to help.

    Remove/delete the GT from the console.

    Power cycle the console.

    Restart the console, and recover the GT.

    Sorry to see any issues with a suspension! It sounds like your console has been issued a suspension as well, and filing a Case Review while your account's suspension was active would have brought that to light. An email is sent to your Microsoft Account
    email explaining the suspensions, and you will want to check that for more information. The Enforcement team are not on these forums, and we are unable to comment on any Enforcement Actions ourselves.

    Xbox chat not working after communications ban

    This has been known to help.

    Remove/delete the GT from the console.
