Chat Mixer Option not showing

Hello All,

I recently bought an Xbox One S and a Hypercloud headset. I want to have the audio from the Xbox and my party come into the headset and not through the TV. Currently, the chat from the party is working and comes through the headset however the audio from
the TV is still coming out of the TV and not the headset.

Under the audio options, there is not option called "chat mixer." The headset uses a 3.5 mm jack cable and I have updated the controller. I was able to get it working only one time where Chat mixer was showing, but now the chat mixer option is not available
when I plug in the headset.

Any suggestions?

Sorry to hear it. If the option isn't showing in Settings>General then the Audio section please try powercycling your console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds till it shuts down to see if that helps

Thanks for the response. I did the hard reset but still have the same issue. Under Settings>general>volume & audio output, then under "volume options" chat mixer is there. The problem is getting the chat mixer to appear under system>audio where it shows
"headset volume" "mic monitoring" and "chat mixer". The last one "chat mixer" no longer appears in the systems audio section.

Any more suggestions?

UPDATE.

I figured it out.

Hard reset the xbox with the headset plugged in. The new controller has the chat mixer turned all the way to chat and not to game . Put the mixer back to the middle and it works. Without the hard restart, the option to adjust the chat mixer is gone.
