the party chat on my a50 is extremely loud even with game volume turned all the way up on the headset. Also hear an echo if I try to adjust towards voice audio on the headset. The worst part is under the chat mixer there are no slider bars to adjust the
sound further. I don’t know if this has something to do with it being a wireless headset or something with my xbox. Please help.

    :)

Headset chat mixer slider missing from Volume settings

yesterday the headset chat mixer slider was in my settings but today it is not. 2nd gen Astro a50, 2.5mm/3.5mm cable from headset directly into 3.5mm port on controller. No adapter used. Why did the chat mixer dissapear and how do I get it back?

I think Xbox One has finally got Dolby Digital output through Optical?

About time. I purchased the chat adapter. I will be picking up a pair of astro a50's tomorrow.

Wow, that's a pretty cool headset! And truly wireless as well!

There are two videos here on the Astro website that go over the configuration. There's not going to be much you can do on the Xbox.

ok so I did end up trying to see if using my other two headsets would fix the problem, both are completely different brands, and I’m still having the same issue. Party chat volume is obnoxiously loud and the only adjustment I can make is the volume of the
game audio. Chat stays the same. So this tells me it’s a somethnng within my xbox itself.

Since your headset does not plug into the bottom of the controller, the standard audio adjustment would not be available on the Xbox.

You can confirm this by pressing on the Xbox button on the controller and choose Audio. If Audio is not there, then there's no Xbox Adjustment.

Based on the videos that I saw for your A50 headset, that all the configuration options for your headset can only be done through the app for your headset since Xbox can't see the headset itself.

This makes sense, the only problem is that when I use the voice/game adjustments on any of the headsets none of them adjust, one being the a50, the other being a turtle beach xo1, if it was only an issue within the headset or headset software it should have
the same issue with two separate brands of headsets. So is my xbox somehow preventing me from adjusting the charbroiled volume?
