CHAT MIXER broken? PLEASE HELP!

ok my husband cannot manage to figure out what has happened and neither can I!! His chat mixer bar is basically useless...his volume is cranked so everyone is SUPER loud but to turn it up or down does nothing and the bar stays blue on both ends as opposed
to blue and grey....weve tried everything we could find online and nothing is working so far! Please someone help! I dont know if it matters but hes got an elite controller and a turtle beech headset.

Thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry to hear about the issue you may be experiencing with the chat mixer on the Xbox.

I recommend to try the following article:
How to restart or power cycle your Xbox One console(Disconnect
and reconnect your console's power cable)

After completing the powercycle, try this:

Xbox Button
System Tab
Audio
Adjust volumes in the menu

If the issue persists, try this:

Try this out and let us know the results.

Has anyone found a solution? This is still an ongoing issue that xbox needs to admit and fix. It may be a bug because ive tried every solution found online nothing has worked. Went through several different controllers and headsets same results. Online
gaming has been frustrating since! Please fix this. Xbox One X user

The problem itself and a bit strange, if you change the status of headphones mixer that does not move anymore, you will not have headphones with little keys on the wire that are interference??? Anyway, see if that's it. I understand what you say, but I
think he tries to guide the other guy too on
